Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Shopify Development)

Location: Remote - India

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Shopify development, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of Shopify-based solutions for our clients. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance e-commerce solutions. Additionally, you will leverage your expertise in Java, NodeJS, and your aptitude for learning to contribute to various projects and initiatives within the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Shopify-based e-commerce solutions, including custom themes, plugins, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver solutions that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Optimize Shopify websites for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Stay updated on the latest Shopify developments, best practices, and trends, and incorporate them into our projects.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal tools, libraries, and frameworks.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • years of experience in software development, with a focus on Shopify development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and NodeJS, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  • Experience working with Shopify APIs, Liquid templating language, and Shopify theme development.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies is a plus.
